Reply:Hey Chris!!!!

It's me. Vanessa! (the girl that sits next to you!)

just wanted to say hi.

so Hi.

Thanx again 4 lending me ur journals!!!
Reply:1. In a studio I'm looking for professional equipment, Pro Tools, an acoustic piano (hard to find), and an engineer with good ears that's easy to work with.

2. I would record at "Music Life" if it had everything listed above and was priced fairly.

3. I would expect there to be guitar amps, drum set, a rack with pre-amps, EQs, dynamics processors, and effects units. Possibly a 2" tape machine and an analog board for people who like it done the old fashioned way.

4. I have been to Jackpot! Studio (Portland, Oregon), Smart Studio (Madison, Wisconsin), and Madison Media Institute (Madison, Wisconsin)

5. The studios I have recorded at usually have everything I'm looking for. Although at Smart I was in their second floor studio and their baby grand piano is in the down stairs studio (more expensive to rent though) and MMI didn't have a piano but I go to school there and it was free so that was ok.

6. I'm interested in recording folk, pop/rock. I don't like music that is really heavy and/or complex.

7. Nah that's alright, but thanks.

8. I don't know. After going to school for music recording it made me realize that I really don't want to be an engineer unless I'm working on something I really enjoy.

9. That's alright. I found 2 great producers already.

10. Usually 10am-8pm seems standard but if you offered discounted rates on off hours like 10pm-6am I might go for that too.
