If each song was selected 4 times, how many students were surveyed?
THE ANSWER IS 24 but I need to know how to find that answer. Can you help?
In a survey of students, each student selected from a list of 12 songs the 2 songs the student liked best...?
12 students X 4 votes = 48 total votes
48 votes / 2 (votes per student) = 24 students.
